When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from the identity provider.
When you create a Proof Pack, we collect the photos and videos you capture, along with capture metadata (timestamps, device clock data, capture profile settings). We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly enable it in a future release.
Your media and metadata are used solely to create, seal, store, and verify Proof Packs. We do not use your content for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose unrelated to the HARDSIGHT service.
Sealed Proof Packs and their original artifacts are stored in our vault (DigitalOcean Spaces, US region). Retention duration depends on your subscription plan. When retention expires, vault objects are deleted. Local copies on your device are managed by you.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. When you share a verification link, anyone with that link can view the Proof Pack's verification status and media. You control when and with whom you share links.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of HARDSIGHT, our users, or the public.
All data is transmitted over TLS. Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. Proof Packs are cryptographically signed with Ed25519 and integrity-verified with SHA-256. Vault objects are stored as write-once immutable blobs.
You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. This permanently removes your user record and associated data from our servers. You can request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@hardsight.io.
HARDSIGHT is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
