By creating an account or using the HARDSIGHT app and services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
HARDSIGHT provides tamper-evident photo and video documentation. The service captures media, seals it with cryptographic signatures, stores immutable originals in a vault, and provides verification links. HARDSIGHT verifies integrity and custody — it does not verify that depicted scenes are true, accurate, or unstaged.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
You retain ownership of all media you capture with HARDSIGHT. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and serve your content as necessary to provide the service (sealing, vault storage, verification page display). We do not claim any other rights to your content.
You may not use HARDSIGHT to capture or distribute illegal content, harass others, or misrepresent the nature of captured evidence. You may not attempt to circumvent the cryptographic integrity mechanisms, reverse-engineer the sealing process, or forge verification results.
HARDSIGHT offers subscription plans with varying vault retention periods. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Refunds are handled per Apple's refund policy. If your subscription lapses, vault-stored originals may be deleted after the retention period expires.
HARDSIGHT proves that media has not been altered since capture. A "Verified" result means the cryptographic chain is intact — it does not mean the depicted events are true or that the capture was not staged. HARDSIGHT is a tool for integrity verification, not a factual arbiter.
HARDSIGHT is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccurate verification results, or reliance on Proof Packs as evidence. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, vault-stored data will be deleted per our retention policies.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
